Kitchen, bathroom, and whole-house remodeling in Houma
From a new kitchen in Lockport to a gutted whole-house renovation in Houma. One contractor, one schedule, one number.
Remodeling with a real estimate behind it
Most remodeling horror stories start with a vague bid. Ours start with a line-item estimate that lists cabinets, countertops, tile, plumbing fixtures, electrical, flooring, paint, and labor separately, so you can see the number, change your mind on the tile, and know exactly what that change costs.
Kitchen remodeling
Cabinet replacement or refacing, quartz and granite countertops, tile backsplash, islands, under-cabinet lighting, moving a wall to open the kitchen to the living room, new plumbing and electrical for a relocated sink or range. We also handle the structural work that comes with removing a load-bearing wall.
Bathroom remodeling
Tub-to-shower conversions, tile showers with proper waterproofing, curbless and accessible showers, double vanities, new tile floors, exhaust and lighting upgrades. We pay attention to the waterproofing details that keep a bathroom from becoming a water-damage job five years later.
Whole-house renovations
When the house is worth keeping but everything inside needs to go, we take it down to the studs and bring it back: new electrical and plumbing, new drywall, new kitchen and baths, new floors, new roof if it needs one. We recently completed a full whole-house renovation in Houma and a kitchen and bath remodel in Lockport.
Older homes and hidden conditions
Houses built before the 1980s often have surprises behind the walls. For those projects we recommend a cost-plus contract with a fixed contractor fee so you pay actual cost for what we find rather than a padded allowance for what we might find.
Kitchen & Bath Remodeling questions
How much does a kitchen remodel cost in Houma?
It depends on the cabinets, countertops, tile, and fixtures you choose and whether plumbing or walls move. Because every line is itemized in our estimate, you can see exactly what each choice costs and adjust before you commit. Whole-house renovations are priced the same way, room by room.
How long does a bathroom remodel take?
A standard bathroom remodel takes two to four weeks of on-site work once materials are in hand. Custom tile showers add time for waterproofing and curing.
Can you remove a load-bearing wall?
Yes. We install engineered beams and posts sized by a structural engineer when the wall carries load, and we handle the permit and inspection.
Do you do whole-house renovations?
Yes. We take homes down to the studs and rebuild them, including new electrical, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, kitchens, baths, and flooring.
Can I stay in my house during the remodel?
For single-room remodels, usually yes. For whole-house renovations, most clients move out for the duration because the electrical, plumbing, and dust make the house hard to live in.
