General contractor in Houma, Louisiana
Our office is on West Tunnel Boulevard. Houma is where most of our work happens, from Bayou Cane and Mulberry to Broadmoor, Summerfield, and Bayou Black.
Building in Houma
Houma is home base. Charles Grey Construction is located at 1340 West Tunnel Boulevard, a few minutes from the Terrebonne Parish courthouse and the Intracoastal bridge, and we have built, roofed, renovated, and poured concrete across the city: in the older neighborhoods off Main and Park near Southdown, in Mulberry and Bayou Cane along Martin Luther King Boulevard, in Summerfield and Broadmoor on the east side, and out toward Bayou Black and Coteau.
Houma houses come in a few flavors, and we work on all of them. There are the 1960s and 70s slab homes with low-slope roofs that need wind-rated replacements, the raised cottages near downtown with asbestos shingles and settled piers, the brick ranches in Summerfield that want a kitchen opened up, and the new builds on filled lots south of town that need to be elevated and hurricane-strapped from the first truss.
Recent work in and around Houma
Recent Houma projects include a whole-house renovation, a metal-to-shingle roof replacement in east Houma under a Louisiana Citizens wind claim, a 26-gauge metal roof on a home near Bayou Cane, a 1,500 square foot salon building, a warehouse bay enclosure on the west side of town, and a rotted-subfloor repair out toward Bayou Blue.
Every one of these started with a free site visit and a line-item estimate. Yours can too.
